Our Mission
Córdoba is dedicated to spreading the joy of playing music! The Córdoba Cares initiative is our way of taking that commitment beyond the high-quality instruments that we manufacture.
Through the Córdoba Cares program, Córdoba will provide 12 free ukuleles to 1 eligible music program a week. The ukuleles are intended to be used and owned by the music club or group, not given to individual members. Eligible music clubs or groups will range from low-income school programs, veteran & military support groups, senior communities, music therapy, and more.
Program Details
Córdoba will provide twelve 15CM concert-sized all-mahogany ukuleles with a standard gig bag and a small accessory pack free of charge to qualifying music clubs or groups!
The 15CM concert ukulele is the perfect instrument to learn on, as it is comfortable to hold and play for both children and adults.
Community
We believe that music educators are very special and want to support their mission to expose more people of all ages and walks of life to music! Córdoba will be profiling the amazing organizations that receive donations on our blog and via social media.
The Córdoba Cares members-only Facebook group is a place where organizers can share success stories, photos, videos and tips such as new songs to teach or new teaching methods. There’s so much that we can learn from each other.
Qualifications
Córdoba is dedicated to helping as many organizations as possible! The program will be fulfilled to qualifying applicants on a first-come-first-served basis.
Our requirements:
- Proof that organization or group has been established for at least 1 year
- Proof of 10 active members minimum
- Proof of regular meetings and/or scheduled lessons
- The program only open to groups in the United States
Fine Print:
- Donation may not be negotiated or changed
- Ukuleles may not be traded or sold
- An organization may only be awarded with a Córdoba Cares gift once
- Organization agrees to participate in the Córdoba Cares community (online & in person), remain in open communication with Córdoba, provide Córdoba with an interview and photos for a profile on Cordobaguitars.com.
