We were honored to be featured in Acoustic Guitar Magazine’s “Great Acoustics” section in their 25th Anniverary issue! Great Acoustics is a recurring article that provides a biography of a guitar, exploring its history and profiling the lives of the people who have owned it. After visiting our Master Series NAMM display in January, the Senior Editors of Acoustic Guitar approached us about spotlighting Tim Miklaucic’s 1973 Churchdoor Rodriguez, the guitar that inspired our Master Series Rodriguez model. As its name suggests, this guitar was made from a rosewood church door that had fallen from its rotted hinges in Granada, Spain. It was first owned by a flamenco singer, Naranjito de Triana, then by a private owner, and now Miklaucic. It has an incredibly powerful sound and the “strings have remarkable discovery,” says Miklaucic. Click the image above to read the entire article.
