Castle Heights Elementary Plays Their New Córdoba Ukuleles

Castle Heights Elementary plays their donated Córdoba ukuleles!

You may remember, but in the Spring of 2018, we volunteered with the LA Phil at the Hollywood Bowl. We kicked off our latest volunteer program by teaching the kids of Castle Heights Elementary to play the ukulele.

The kids were clearly enthralled by the opportunity to play and touch our favorite four-stringed instrument, so to help them continue the romance, we decided to donate a set of 15SM soprano-sized, all-mahagony ukuleles.

We couldn’t have picked a more deserving group of students–as seen in this (almost too) adorable video of the burgeoning musicians playing at their year-end recital. Volume up and tissues out, people!
